Capt. Harold Moyer and Capt. Danielle Harangody

​

Harold grew up in Rock Hall, Maryland on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay. He took up sailing as a boy and eventually moved to St. Thomas at the age of 22. He started Caribbean Boatworks, a successful fiberglass company, in Yacht Haven Marina in Charlotte Amalie and began racing in regattas all over the Caribbean. Harold got his USCG 100 Ton license in 1998 and began running charter sailing yachts. Today, he holds a USCG 500 Ton Master Oceans license and has over 20 years of experience in the yachting industry. His career has taken him across the Atlantic 4 times and across the Pacific twice. In his spare time, Harold enjoys Mexican food, live music, cooking, paddle boarding, and sailing. His other hobbies include time travel and exploring outer space.

 

Danielle was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. She grew up around the ocean, surfing, snorkeling and boating. She began lifeguarding in high school and worked on local yachts through college. She obtained her USCG 100 Ton license at the age of 22 and ran a fleet of 150 passenger day charter yachts based in West Palm Beach. Danielle currently holds a USCG 200 Ton Master License. In her spare time she enjoys surfing, paddle boarding, sailing and sewing. Her other hobbies include being a pirate and searching for buried treasure.

 

Harold and Danielle have been working together since 2015 aboard multiple private and charter yachts. Their career together has taken them to the Caribbean, Bahamas, US East Coast, New England and the Great Lakes. They have years of charter experience and together can guarantee a fun, safe experience on the water!
